    An exclusive concert performed by flutist Ron Korb and harpist Sharlene Wallace at the beautiful preserved Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum built in 1825. The concert celebrates the coming of summer and takes place before sunset. The natural acoustics of the main building are breath taking and the surrounding grounds provide a pleasant escape. Ron and Sharlene have known each other since their student days at the Faculty of Music, U of T.     Sharlene Wallace is known for her extravagant Lever Harp compositions, and her performances on both lever and pedal harps. She is an in-demand Workshop leader and will conduct one for intermediate level students of all ages, as well as a masterclass. Then to top off a fine day with “The Shar” as she is known, she will play a concert at the same venue, April 13th, 7 pm.
    You can purchase individual tickets to any event in the festival, but the best deal is the Festival pass for $75, or the Sharlene Wallace Day pass for $55. His cover art and poster art creations are everywhere, and many of Canada’s top musical artists and festivals have hired him for his versatile and beautiful talents. He has had to face challenges ( the loss of both legs) and did so with bravery and humour…and now comes the time for the community to celebrate him, raise money for him, and send our very best wishes to him as he begins the next cycle of creativity and prosperity.
